1Day – Wild Condors Tour + Volcanic Waterfalls

Tour Description:

One hour drive from Quito that will take you through the countryside. This amazing tour will let you get deep into the mountains close to Quito. We will drive through an enormous lava flow of the Antisana Volcano, and arrive at a beautiful viewpoint where we will find condors and condors nests. We will arrive early in the morning when there is more chance of watching condors. At this amazing place, we will find also different species of hummingbirds and have a hot coffee while watching the birds. We will spend in the place around 2 hours.

After the condor watching, we will drive for 1 h and 15 minutes to an amazing ecological reserve really close to Cotopaxi volcano. In these places, we will have lunch in a restaurant next to a river in the middle of a natural reserve. The Reserve has the highest waterfall in Pichincha, this waterfall has 90 meters high and the water comes from the Cotopaxi National Park. We will do a hike to the waterfall that will take less than one hour. On the hike, we can see different native orchids and amazing flora around the area.

Then we will have a drive back to Quito for 1 h 30 minutes.
